The deflagration-proof vacuum valve DU DN 50 consists of a GGG-40 spheroidal cast iron housing comprising 6 brass nozzle units that serve as a valve device and are deflagration–proof in the event of atmospheric explosions.
Function:
During storage container filling, nozzle units are tightly sealed by their respective steel balls thus preventing the displaced gases from leaking into the atmosphere. Substance withdrawal causes air intake from the atmosphere through the units by lifting the ball from its respective bore. As soon as withdrawal is completed, the balls drop again thus closing the bore.
Air ventilation performance enables simultaneous withdrawal from 4 regular fuel pumps.
