End-of-line deflagration arresters are used to protect containers and pipework systems against atmospheric explosions. They prevent the re-ignition of such plant parts.

The arresters consist of a housing of spheroidal cast iron with an arrester package of two flame arrester elements.

Deflagration arresters are delivered along with a declaration of conformity and with operating and maintenance instructions.

End-of-line deflagration arresters made of spheroidal cast iron DF DN 15 to DN 80 are only produced with sleeve connections (female thread) (see dimension sheet).
